Musician Thug Omega, now known as Rahmaan, has rebranded and dropped his new EP, "Unstoppable," marking a fresh start for his music career in 2026.
The EP features six tracks, including "Bora," "Kasi," "Bawku," "Black Maria," the title track "Unstoppable," and "Buame," produced by notable producers like Oyal Mix, Pyal Mix, and Max Rogue .
The rebrand marks a significant turning point in his musical journey, symbolising growth, reinvention and a refreshed creative direction. Rahmaan, who gained prominence under the Thug Omega brand for his energetic rap style and strong impact within the northern music scene, is now positioning himself for a broader and more global audience.
Rahmaan, formerly Thug Omega, says the rebranding signifies growth, transformation, and a renewed vision.
"The new EP reflects my growth in music," he shared in an interview. "It's now better produced, the words are deeper, and it mixes hip-hop and Afrobeats in a cool way".
He also disclosed that the project’s title reflects Rahmaan’s message of resilience, perseverance and ambition, values that have shaped his career and continue to drive his creative mission.
A native of Bimbilla, raised in Tamale, Rahmaan started his music career before relocating to the UK. He's the maternal uncle of R2Bees' Mugeez and remains rooted in his Northern culture. Some of his notable songs include "Alima," "Yelim," "Bejita," and "Sasabo".
