The Ghana Stock Exchange All-Share Index, the main market indicator, fell again on Wednesday under losses by British American Tobacco (BAT) and Aluworks.
The Index went down by 27.22 points, the second successive loss after 11.92 points loss on Monday.
The index ended at 6,862.22 points while change for the year was down at 0.94 per cent.
Aluworks lost 1,000 cedis at 9,000 cedis and BAT lost another 500 cedis to close at 5,500 cedis on a day that traded shares went up to 487,500 from Monday's close 304,700.
However, two other price changes were positive.
Ghana Commercial Bank rose by 10 cedis at 12,220 cedis while Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) went up by eight cedis to close at 6,684 cedis.
Market capitalisation closed lower at 97,788.50 billion cedis from 97,862.81 billion cedis during the previous trading.
