A leading global agribusiness in food, feed and fibre, Olam Agri, has met with stakeholders of its grains business in Ghana to deepen its understanding of partner business performance.
The forum, which was held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, served as an integral platform for dialogue between Olam Agri’s senior management team and its partners.
It also emphasised the company’s dedication to strengthening food security and driving mutual growth across the grains value chain.
It brought together some of the company's top distributors, bakers and industry dealers.
Also in attendance were the senior Olam Agri global leaders, Head of Olam Agri’s Grains Business in Ghana, Soumya Saxena; the MD & Global Head, Food and Feed Processing and Value-Added Segment, Saurabh Mehra, and Ashish Pande, who is the Commercial Head, Wheat Milling.
The open and interactive nature of the exchanges enabled Olam Agri to identify innovative ways to enhance support and collaboration.
Mr Saxena explained that the interaction was also proof of the company's commitment to building a resilient business community with all stakeholders.
He stated that as the grains industry in Ghana evolves, Olam Agri stood resolute in its mission to co-create innovative solutions and responsive strategies alongside its partners to meet growing market demands and challenges.
“This engagement epitomises our commitment to our partners and reflects our core belief that their success is intrinsically tied to ours.
“The wealth of insights shared has been tremendously encouraging. Celebrating these enduring partnerships, which are fundamental to our business, fills us with optimism for a future of continued shared prosperity,” Mr Saxena observed.
The occasion also provided a well-deserved platform for the recognition and celebration of loyalty and excellence among Olam Agri’s most dedicated partners, notably in the bakery and distribution sectors, as well as among key collaborators within the grains sector.
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders about the value of the forum and the partnership, Accra-based baker Regina Owusu said that the consistently high standards Olam Agri maintained for their products, combined with their openness and willingness to listen and collaborate, made them a vital partner in their shared journey toward success.
“Olam Agri’s commitment to quality and partnership is truly unmatched.
They do far more than just supply products.
They actively engage with us and carry out various sustainability programmes to ensure that our businesses thrive and for that we are grateful," she stated.
