Societe Generale Ghana has hosted the first mini draw of its Deposit and Drive Campaign, rewarding 40 lucky customers with high-value prizes, including ultra-modern televisions, air fryers, microwaves, blenders and sleek mobile phones.
The event, held on Monday, April 14, marks a thrilling milestone in the bank’s campaign to promote financial resilience through savings.
Launched in February, the Deposit and Drive Promotion encourages customers to cultivate a savings culture by depositing and reserving GH¢500 or multiples of it into their accounts. Participants stand a chance to win life-changing rewards, including the grand prize of a Toyota RAV4 at the September grand draw, as well as luxury trips to Dubai and Singapore. Two mini-draws precede the final event, with the second set for June.
Managing Director of Societe Generale Ghana, Mr Hakim Ouzzani, praised customers for embracing the initiative, by saving, and customers for not just positioning themselves to win prizes they are investing in their futures, and that is the real reward.
General Manager for Retail Mr Obed Hoyah commended staff and partners for their dedication to the campaign’s success.
The National Lottery Authority (NLA) ensured the integrity and transparency of the draw, with Christiana Antwi, Marketing Officer at the NLA, verifying the legitimacy of the selection process.
“As the regulatory body overseeing this promotion, we confirm that all winners were chosen fairly and genuinely reflect the campaign’s objectives,” she said.
The event transformed doubt into triumph for many participants.
One customer, who initially questioned the promotion’s credibility, celebrated his win enthusiastically.
“I was not sure at first, but this prize has convinced me. My next deposit will be GH¢100,000 to aim for even greater rewards,” he said.
The Deposit and Drive Campaign will continue accepting qualifying deposits until May 30, after which there will be a second mini-draw in June and the grand draw in September.
To maximise their chances, customers are encouraged to make deposits of GH¢500 or multiple of it into their accounts.
