Star Assurance Group, the parent company of Star Assurance, StarLife Assurance, Star Micro Insurance Services, Star Health, and Star Pensions Trust, embraced the season of love with a meaningful gesture. The company made a heartfelt visit to Precious Feet International, an NGO located in Otoase in the Eastern Region, which supports underprivileged children with disabilities. The visit was a beautiful opportunity to spread love and bring joy to the children.
The visit brought together employees from all five subsidiaries of Star Assurance Group, with the goal of spreading joy, building lasting bonds, and promoting a sense of inclusion among the children at Precious Feet International.
The children, who face a variety of physical disabilities, were treated to a memorable morning full of lively interactions and other engagements, including a special breakfast served to them by Executive Management of the Star Assurance Group.
“I am personally touched seeing these beautiful children and I believe we have more to do as organizations to support and protect the vulnerable in our society. Our visit today is about showing love where it is needed the most, through connection, attention, and giving these incredible kids a moment to be happy,” Boatemaa Barfour-Awuah, CEO of Star Assurance, stated.
She assured them of further support this year regarding some medical needs of the children.
On her part, CEO of StarLife Assurance, Kakra Duffuor-Nyarko, said, “We wanted to make this Valentine’s Day truly special by reaching out to children who often don’t get the attention they deserve. Love is about more than gifts and chocolates; it’s about showing care, understanding, and support for those who need it most. This visit is our way of giving back and showing that love has no boundaries.”

The Proprietor of Precious Feet International, Madam Louisa Enyonam Ansah, thanked the Star Assurance Group for the show of love to the Home and the children. She assured the team that the support given to the Home will be put to good use for the benefit of the children.
For the children, their morning was filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of belonging as they engaged with staff of the Star Assurance Group.
