The first live action on ESPN arrives on the evening of Friday 1 November, as Luton Town host West Bromwich Albion in an EFL Championship clash (22:00 LIVE on ESPN). More English football is showcased on the afternoon of Saturday 2 November, as Swansea City visit Oxford United (14:30 LIVE on ESPN).
Oxford United manager Des Buckingham suffered a health scare last week, but looks like he’s on course to be in the dugout once again. He felt dizzy during the team’s match against Derby County, but his assistant coach Craig Short explained what exactly went down.
“He stayed till the end of the game but two or three times felt dizzy and had to hold on to the side,” said Short. “We asked him whether he’d eaten anything funny but he said no, he’d just had the normal pre-match meal.”
Saturday evening features a double dose of Eredivisie action, with a heavyweight bout between Ajax and PSV Eindhoven (19:45 LIVE on ESPN) and Feyenoord welcoming AZ Alkmaar to Rotterdam (22:00 LIVE on ESPN).
Sunday 3 November brings an afternoon game from the Belgian Pro League, as KRC Genk battles Royal Antwerp (14:30 LIVE on ESPN), before Millwall host Burnley in the final EFL Championship match of the weekend (17:00 LIVE on ESPN).
The Championship action resumes in midweek, with a potential thriller between Milwall and Leeds United on Wednesday 6 November (21:45 LIVE on ESPN), as well as Burnley visiting the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion on Thursday 7 November (22:00 LIVE on ESPN).

On ESPN 2, Week 9 of the NFL kicks off on the morning of Friday 1 November with a clash between the New York Jets and the Houston Texans (02:15 LIVE on ESPN 2), while the evening of the same day features European football from the Turkish Super Lig – Gaziantep v Goztepe (19:00 LIVE on ESPN 2) – and the Belgian Pro League – KVC Westerlo v FVC Dender (21:45 LIVE on ESPN 2).
More Belgian football follows on Saturday 2 November with Club Brugge visiting OH Leuven (19:15 LIVE on ESPN 2), while Sunday 3 November brings a clash between Bodrum FK and Alanyaspor (15:00 LIVE on ESPN 2) from Turkey.
The NFL then reclaims the spotlight from Sunday evening, with the Count Down (19:00 LIVE on ESPN 2) followed by the Carolina Panthers hosting the New Orleans Saints (20:00 LIVE on ESPN 2) and the Green Bay Packers tackling the Detroit Lions (22:25 LIVE on ESPN 2).
The Saints are currently on a six-match losing streak and the coaching staff is under pressure to start grinding out positive results.
“The message is it’s the people in the room in there that are going to have to change it,” embattled coach Dennis Allen said. “Nobody is coming from outside the building. It’s going to have to be the guys that are in that locker room, the coaches, to fix it.”
“That’s what it is, and we have to pay better attention to all the details, and we have to do a better job coaching all the details, because details matter in our league, and we don’t get to pick and choose which ones do and which ones don’t,” he added.
The morning of Monday 4 November features the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars (03:20 LIVE on ESPN 2), the evening has a Super Lig game pitting Samsunspor against Antalyaspor (19:00 LIVE on ESPN 2), and the morning of Tuesday 5 November sees the Kansas City Chiefs host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (03:15 LIVE on ESPN 2).
