England defender Maya Le Tissier has been appointed as Manchester United's new captain ahead of the new Women's Super League season.
The 22-year-old from Guernsey succeeds Katie Zelem, who left the club to join Angel City in the United States.
Le Tissier joined United from Brighton and Hove Albion in 2022 and has made more than 40 league appearances since.
She has also won four caps for England and was voted her club's joint-Players' Player of the Year alongside Ella Toone - who has been named as vice-captain - last season.
"It’s an honour to be named captain of this great football club and I will wear the armband with real pride, to help drive this team to success on and off the field," Le Tissier told the club website.
