Ghana's national under-20 women’s football team, the Black Princesses, have left Accra for Colombia as they gear up for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The team is set to make its seventh consecutive appearance at the prestigious biennial tournament.
Before their departure, the Black Princesses relocated their training camp from Cape Coast to Accra and played a preparatory match against Avenor All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
This final match was part of their ongoing preparations for the global event.
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup is scheduled to take place in Colombia from Saturday, August 31 to Sunday, September 22, 2024.
The Black Princesses will kick off their campaign on September 2 against Austria, followed by group E matches against Japan and New Zealand.
