After his side’s impressive outing in the month of February, Aduana FC head coach, Samuel Kwesi Fabin, has been adjudged the NASCO Coach of the Month.
The 63-year-old gaffer led his side to win three out of the four league matches played in the month of review and drawing one while they scored five goals without conceding.
He has ensured that the Dormaa-Ahenkro-based club continues to sit on the summit of the league table with 39 points.
The former Ghana U-17 coach saw off competition from fellow nominees Abdul Karim Zito of Dreams FC and Umar Abdul Rabi, formerly of Medeama SC.
Similarly, Accra Lions midfielder Abass Samari Salifu was named the NASCO Player of the Month.
Samari shrugged off strong competition from three other players, including Francis Andy Kumi, Hafiz Wontah Konkoni and Steven Mukwala Desse.
Abass Samari put up an impressive performance in the month of February after scoring four goals in four matches and winning three NASCO Player of the Match awards.
Maafia Nyame of Faith Ladies was also crowned the NASCO Women's Premier League Player of the Month after beating competition from Army Ladies' Zenabu Mumuni, Princess Owusu of Fabulous Ladies and Faiza Seidu of Northern Ladies.
Maafia's outstanding showing led her to score three goals in three matches in the month of February - and won the NASCO Player of the Match twice in the process.
