Ghanaian international, Grace Asantewaa has expressed excitement after joining Real Betis Féminas in the Spanish Women's league for two years.
The midfielder penned a two-year deal with the Spanish team.
The 20-year-old Black Queens Midfielder joined the new team from EDF Logroño in Spain in 2019, from Techiman-based side, Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC.
After her signing, Asantewaa said she would do her best to help the club in the league.
She said, “The coach is happy to have me and I am happy to be here. I will make sure I do I can to help my club in the 2021/22 season. This is a great opportunity to my showcase my talent and I will grab it.”
In the just-ended season, she scored four goals in 24 league appearances for Logrono who finished 17th in the Spanish female league.
Real Betis finished 12th in the league and Asantewaa’s addition with augment the team in the 2021/22 league campaign.
