The 2017/2018 Central Region Division Two League would commence at all league centres, this weekend. Mr. Robert Duncan, Chairman of the Regional Football Association has announced this said the matches would be played on 28,29 and 30th April. He said a total of 42 division two clubs including Cape Coast Venomous Vipers would compete in the league. Mr Duncan urged clubs, who have not yet paid their participation fee to do so as early as possible to avoid any embarrassment. He appealed to club officials to educate their supporters, provide security at the various centres, to ensure an incident-free league. He said the association would organise a briefing course for club executives to educate them on the laws of the game before the commencement of the league and admonished the referees to be fair in their officiating.
