A former Member of Parliament (MP) for Subin, Mr. Isaac Osei, has presented television sets to two basic schools, a health facility, police stations and a church, in the constituency.
These are the Adum Presbyterian Primary and Amankwatia Junior High School (JHS) ‘B’, the KMA clinic, Saint Peter’s Catholic Cathedral, the Zongo and Railways Police Stations.
They each received a 43-inch LED TV.
Presenting them on his behalf, at separate ceremonies in Kumasi, Mr. Francis Boamah, the Constituency Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), said it was in response to an appeal made to the ex-MP.
Mr. Osei, who is now the Chief Executive of the Tema Oil Refinery, made education and health development, his major priority – provided scholarship for a number of students and supplied equipment to health facilities during his tenure as MP.
The chairman urged the people to stand solidly behind the government as it worked to restore the economy to the path of growth – to create wealth and make things better for everybody.
Mrs. Susana Barfi, the head teacher of the Adum Primary School, said they were grateful to Mr. Osei for his tremendous support.
