Mr Mike Allan Hammah, the Minister of Lands and National Resources, has donated one resography, one photo copier machine, one heavy duty printer, four computers and accessories, one air-condition, two street lamps, four computers and five footballs valued at GH₵35,000 to Winneba Senior High School.
Making the presentation at the school Mr Hammah said the donation formed part of his social responsibilities to help enhance teaching and learning in the school.
Mr Hammah, the Member of Parliament for Effutu, appealed to the students to eschew practices and habits that in the future would not bring growth and progress in their lives.
He mentioned some of the practices as indecent dressing, disrespect for authority, drug abuse, pre-marital sex and indulging in Internet fraud.
Mr Hammah appealed to parents to invest more in their children's education rather than using their limited monies on litigation and spending on things that would not benefit the family.
Mrs Cecilia Coffie, Headmistress of the school, thanked the MP for his commitment tothe school.
She mentioned re-shaping and tarring of the school's roads, renovation of the assembly hall, construction of basket ball pitch and sponsoring the teachers and students to participate in Local and International activities as some of the support Mr Hammah had given the school.
