Two banks at Nkoranza have presented 12 dustbins to Nkoranza District Directorate of Education for distribution to selected basic schools to promote sanitation.
The Nkoranza-Fiagya Rural Bank presented seven of them whilst First Allied Savings and
Loans Bank gave the remaining five.
Making the presentation at Nkoranza representatives of the two banking institutions
pledged to extend the gesture to more schools in the area.
Mr. Kwasi Djan, Nkoranza District School Health Education Programme Coordinator who
received the items, commended the banks for making the donation.
He appealed to other financial institutions to support basic schools in the area.
