A 27-year old driver, Daniel Badzie, has been sentenced to three months imprisonment by a Kumasi Circuit Court for causing damage to a police officer's vehicle.
Badzie who pleaded guilty to the charge has been ordered to pay the cost of the damage after serving his prison term.
Prosecuting Police Chief Inspector Mary Affanyi told the Court presided over by Mr. Adjei Frimpong that, on May 26, 2009, at about 9:20 am, the accused with vehicle registration number GW 5280 Q was seen driving carelessly around Airport Roundabout area in Kumasi.
