The Association of Ghana Industries has donated communication equipment to the Ghana Police Service.
The equipment includes two radio transmitters and 53 Motorola handsets valued at GH¢ 45,200.
The donation will provide effective communication between patrol teams and the Police Information Room.
Dr Oteng Agyei President of AGI said though the Police Service faced many challenges the government had put ample resources at the disposal of the Service and these had helped to improve the operational efficiency of the Service.
He pledged the commitment of the Association to provide more support for the Police.
