Mr John Boadu, National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has assured Ghanaians that Nana Akufo-Addo, presidential candidate of the party would continue with the good works began by President Kufuor.
He therefore urged members and supporters of the party to retain the NPP in power on December 7.
Addressing a rally organized jointly by the Ablekuma Central Constituency of the party and the Positive Supporters Club at the weekend, Mr Boadu asked the people not to be deceived by the lies peddled by some political parties that the NPP had not lived up to expectation.
He said the achievements of the NPP under President Kufuor were immense and that Nana Akufo-Addo would lead the nation onto the path of prosperity.
Mr Boadu said Nana Akufo-Addo would endeavour to deepen the nation's democracy and restructure the economy.
Miss Vida Dugbartey, Greater-Accra Regional Women's Organizer of the Party, urged Ghanaians not to vote for any opposition party in order not to reverse the nation's development and progress.
Mr Robert Sabbah, NPP parliamentary candidate for the constituency, asked the electorate to retain the NPP in power to ensure the development of the area.
He promised efficient leadership, and asked them to vote for him.
Mrs Vida Owusu, Constituency Women's Organiser, said the NPP government under President Kufuor had provided pregnant women with free maternity health care, and urged them to vote for the party to continue to improve their living standards.
Mr Charles Allan Gyimah, Leader and Founder of the Positive Supporters Club, pledged its determination to campaign seriously to ensure victory for the NPP come December 7.
