In another development, Mr Gordon Wellu, Communications Manager of GT, in a statement issued in Bolgatanga, has expressed concern at the increasing rate of stealing of GT cables.
"We call on the public to help GT nib this practice in the bud, because when the cables are cut, communication is disrupted."
It said the management of GT had a reward package of 1,000 Ghana cedis for anyone who arrested a cable thief and 500 Ghana cedis for anyone who gave the information.
