The Student Representative Council (SRC) of the University for Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) says, the students are ready for the rollout of the new Learning Management System (LMS).
The system – an online learning platform, is meant to ensure continuity of academic work, despite the closure of campuses due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Abraham Norman Nortey, SRC President, UHAS, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the Management of the University had made available video tutorials on the LMS to enable both the students and their lecturers, to acquaint themselves with the e-learning platform.
He encouraged all students to take advantage of the system to close gaps created as a result of the restrictions.
"The objective of this e-learning initiative is to ensure that academic work continues in spite of COVID-19 pandemic, and students, as the florilegium of intellectuals, must embrace it" the SRC President said.
Students are supposed to log on to the UHAS LMS using their index numbers as username and "123456yy" as password via the UHASMobile App or Moodle App.
Those, who have misplaced or forgotten their UHASMail credentials will receive it via their active contacts from management.
They could access UHAS LMS via https://elearning.uhas.edu.gh/lms
