Today is the start of our 'Reading is fun' project. This project lasts the whole month of August and allows 30 children to join our staff and volunteers for a total of 12 days in order to teach these children how to identify letters, their sounds and read words through arts and crafts as well as games and lessons. We provide breakfast for every day of the program which allows the kids to learn on a full stomach. 

We have had very positive results through our previous Reading is Fun projects and hope to do the same this year as well! In 2017 we had an improvement of 50% of the children's reading skills.
