This was contained in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between GWCL Head Office and the Regional branch at the launch of the Leverage ICT to achieve Financial sustainability through Teamwork (LIFT) project .

 LIFT is a target-setting process to up the Company’s game in customer satisfaction and to also meet the projected nationwide target of GHC87,000,000.00 monthly.

 Mr. Gyakabene Kwasi Amponsem, Chief Commercial Manager, GWCL said the success of the LIFT programme would only be achieved through active teamwork and urged staff to consult each other during the implementation.

Mr. Amponsem said under the first phase of the program, named High Impact Performance Improvement Program (HIPIP), GWCL was collecting an average of between GHC16, 000,000.00 and GHC17, 000,000.00 a month nationwide but last month, it managed to collect GHC60, 000,000.00.

 Mr Joseph Adasah Nkrumah, Volta Regional Chief Manager, GWCL, said Ho East and West were the most performing Districts in the Region in terms of meeting set targets and challenged other districts to emulate them.

 GWCL Ladies and the Union assured management of their endless support.

 The 2018 LIFT is an eight-month reform process started May 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
