Four schools in the Western Region have received support from Afiba Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), which seeks to provide the needs of school children in rural areas in the country.
The schools are Esiama SDA School, Esiama Catholic School, Ampain Primary and Nzulezo Primary School.
The NGO led by Jesse Amoh Agyepong and Charles Mensah donated building and educational materials, including a desktop computer, roofing sheets, exercise books, note books, pens, pencils, mathematical set, desks, school bags to the schools, under its Pencil4Purpose programme,
Mr Agyepong said the NGO would continue to help children to achieve their ambitions.
He indicated that “we all have dreams, and we spend each day working towards achieving them. Sometimes all it takes is to be guided in nurturing these potentials. We will work with our partners to create the right platform to identify and harness the dreams of many of these amazing children”.
Mr Mensah said “those of us, who made little out of nothing, believe that children of today can do great things with the little support that we give them. This is why we are supporting them with learning materials in order to make a positive difference in their lives”. – citifmonline.com
