Hassan Ayariga, the flagbearer of the All People's Congress (APC), has unveiled an exciting plan to empower emerging artistes in Ghana's creative industry.
If elected on December 7, 2024, he promises to establish platforms that will nurture up-and-coming artistes, providing them with valuable mentorship, education, and investment opportunities.
Within his policy agenda, Mr Ayariga prioritises artiste development through education, innovative initiatives, and targeted investments.
“APC will build platform for artistes and producers to mentor upcoming talent, help them refine their skills and understand the industry and create platforms in each region to mentor upcoming musicians from infancy to adulthood,” he stated.
Mr Hassan Ayariga believes that transforming Ghana's music industry demands a collaborative and multifaceted approach.
This involves bringing together artists, industry experts, government officials, and other stakeholders to create a vibrant and supportive ecosystem.
By fostering this collective effort, Mr Ayariga aims to address the complex challenges facing the industry and unlock its full potential.
Among the many strategies that an Ayariga government plan for the creative industry are the construction of modern studios and infrastructure to support the industry and invest in music, Education and Talent Development, Music Schools and Workshops.
