The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) had another quiet day on Tuesday with only 46,400 shares changing hands and the main stock index inching up.
The GSE All-Share Index, the main benchmark, rose by 0.87 points at 4,961.24 points from Monday’s 4,960.37 points.
Change for the year was better at 4.03 per cent from 4.01 per cent.
On the broader market there were five price changes, all positive.
ECOBANK Ghana led the way with 15 cedis at 12,120 cedis; ECOBANK Trans-national Incorporated was four cedis better at 22,706 cedis; TOTAL gained three cedis at 54,005 cedis.
Enterprise Insurance Company gained one cedi at 8,426 cedis and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited also ended one cedi up at 9,251 cedis.
Market capitalisation stood at 111,501.63 billion cedis up from 111,496.56 billion cedis.
