The awards is in recognition of their critical contribution to the growth of its clientele market.

Held in Accra, it provided a platform to honour and celebrate excellent performance and busi­ness development growth through progressive competition, novelty, and observance of the highest professional standards.

It also brought together all agents, officers of Agencies and staff stationed across the sixteen regions of the country.

In all, more than 38 agents received various awards for having distinguished themselves during the year under review.

 The award categories included loyalty award for long service, best regional award for the regions and overall best agent.

Mr Kofi Senya, an agent in Kumasi, emerged as the national overall best agent for 2024. Ms Esther Acheampomaa, also an agent, clinched the first runner up overall best agent and Mr Charles Oppong, an agent in Accra, set­tled for second runner up overall best agent.

General Manager for Business Development and Marketing, Nana Yaw Owusu Dwomoh, commended the agents for prov­ing their mettle in contributing to positioning Serene Insurance as a key general insurance player with a privileged reputation as a provider of reliable and cost-ef­fective insurance products and services that address the needs of the insuring public.

Chief Executive Officer of Serene Insurance, Mercy Boam­pong, encouraged agents to retain their businesses since retention is an important engine of agency growth in the insurance sector.

She further urged the agents to maintain good records of clients in order to enable them maintain a credible and reliable database of clients (Know Your Client – KYC) which would even­tually boost customer retention.
