Ghana’s leading chiropractor and Chief Executive Officer of Nova Wellness Center, Dr. Naa Asheley Ashietey, has been recognized for championing innovative healthcare in Africa.

This recognition was conferred on Dr. Naa Asheley Ashietey at the 2024 International Manufacturing Conference and Awards in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on July 12, 2024.

The Business Executive Media Group organized the event to honour exemplary manufacturing and service-providing companies from member states of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).

It was held under the theme “Industrialization to Reduce Imports and Increase Exports,” and had in attendance entrepreneurs, manufacturers, policymakers, diplomats, and business service providers from across Africa.

Speaking after receiving her award, Dr. Naa said the recognition underscores her advocacy for investment in quality natural treatments for musculoskeletal pain and other spinal conditions in Africa.

“As Africans, we need to develop alternative healthcare solutions that meet international standards to reduce the need for medical tourism to Western countries. I look forward to seeing more integrated wellness facilities across Africa, helping our people achieve optimal health,” she stated.

Nova Wellness Center, also received an award for pioneering specialized non-surgical spinal treatments in Ghana with the DRX 9000 non-surgical spinal decompression for neck and back pain.

Nova Wellness Center has been in operation for eleven years, with branches in Accra and Kumasi. The clinic uses chiropractic, non-surgical spinal decompression, regenerative medicine, massage, and exercise therapy to treat neck, back, and joint pain, as well as reproductive ailments like erectile dysfunction.
