Datamaker Ghana Limited, a data annotation company headquartered in Korea (Datamaker, CEO: Enoch Lee) announces the opening of applications for the 2023 round of ICT training scholarships and job opportunities for underprivileged Ghanaian Youth.

This training scholarship program is in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency under a five-year (2021-2025) Inclusive Business Solution (IBS) Program. The special scholarships program targeted at underprivileged Ghanaian youth aims at further deepening the Korean Government’s resolve to promote inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, while enhancing sustained, inclusive, economic growth, and full and productive employment for all.

Through these scholarships and job opportunities underprivileged youth with no prior background in ICT and basic education can be trained in information Computer Technology and AI related Computer skills to enable them access readily available IT jobs.
Over 25 previous beneficiaries of the underprivileged youth ICT Training scholarships graduated with specific skills and competencies in Computer Hardware and Applications as well as AI related annotation tools and are currently pursuing careers in IT related fields.
The upcoming edition of the program will be held at the Datamaker-KOICA IBS Training Centre, #N4 Adenta SDA Junction, in two batch groups from September 4th to September 22nd and from October 2nd to 27th 2023, 7:00am to 2:00pm daily. Participants will be equipped with top notch AI related IT skills, receive T&T and food support during the training and have access to decent IT Job opportunities upon graduating.

A recent statement issued by Datamaker, the Managing Director Minhong Kim, revealed that the special scholarship training program is expected to equip 150 -200 underprivileged youth in Ghana with ICT skills and decent job opportunities under the five-year KOICA Inclusive Business Solutions (IBS) Program.
He explained that the underprivileged scholarship training is a special edition of the regular Datamaker- KOICA IBS ICT scholarship program. These sessions for the underprivileged have integrated curriculums suited for this target youth group. He encouraged all underprivileged Ghanaian Youth interested in ICT to apply regardless of their educational background.
