U.S. Chamber of Commerce 2021 Africa Digital Economy Summit

Tomorrow, December 7th from 9:30am to 11am, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will host the 2021 Africa Digital Economy Summit, highlighting the need for partnership to deliver a robust digital economy across Africa, which can offer new ways to address the continent’s biggest, most enduring challenges.

The virtual summit, which will convene senior government officials and business leaders from the U.S. and Africa, follows the U.S. Chamber’s 2018 launch of a report to enable the growth of Digital Economy in African countries, with three annual conferences following in Kenya (2018), South Africa (2019), and Nigeria (2020). As part of the 2021 Summit, a digital entrepreneurship pitch competition organized for startups series will be announced, with submissions to begin in January 2022.
