Mr. Wilson Arthur, the District Chief Executive of the area in an interview with the GNA at Daboase, said about thousand farmers had already registered under the project, which would supply 100, 000 palm tree seedlings.

He said industrializing the district remained one key component of the Assembly's development goals and would therefore strive to use agricultural materials and other resources that were readily available in the district for its growth and development.

The district is well endowed in cocoa and palm fruits cultivation and was grateful to 'Soccinaf', a local processing company for it desire to buy the palm fruits from the farmers.

"Soccinaf is prepared to buy hugely from the cultivators of these palm fruits and we are happy that our farmers are ready to work to earn some good monies as we strive to alleviate some economic challenges among our people".

The DCE said the district was ready to partner any well-meaning private institution to make the one district one factory concept of the President a reality.
