The US has added more Chinese firms onto its so-called "entity list", only days before a G20 summit in Japan where US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are due to meet.
In May, the US added Huawei to a list of companies that American firms cannot trade with unless they have a licence.
The following Chinese entities were added to the list by the US Commerce Department:
1) Chengdu Haiguang Integrated Circuit
2) Chengdu Haiguang Microelectronics Technology
3) Higon
4) Sugon
5) Wuxi Jiangnan Institute of Computing Technology
