The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a 106-billion-U.S.-dollar bill for funding the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan through this September, CNN reported on Wednesday.
The measure was passed on Tuesday night, on a narrow 226-202 vote after all but five Republicans and 32 Democrats voted against it, according to the report.
Most Republicans oppose the bill because it includes 5 billion dollars in guaranteed loans to the International Monetary Fund ( IMF).
The 32 Democrats who opposed the supplemental were largely from the anti-war "Out of Iraq" caucus.
The bill also included 1 billion dollars for a program that provides incentives for drivers of older vehicles to purchase newer, more environmentally-friendly vehicles.
The bill was forwarded to the Senate for debate.
