Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, Running Mate of NPP in Election 2008 has urged activists, supporters and sympathizers of the Party to be proud of its achievements and educate the public to win more eligible voters for the December polls.
He said NPP achieved a lot in the country's socio-economic and political development adding "We should be proud and tell the success story to the public to retain the Party in power."
Dr Bawumia made the call when addressing members of Kumasi Polytechnic (K-Poly) Chapter of Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) of NPP in Kumasi on Sunday as part of his tour of Ashanti Region.
He said the Party had built very good reputation and urged activists and supporters to work together to ensure landslide victory in December to enable the Party continued with its development agenda.
Mr Daniel Amissah, President of K-Poly Chapter of TESCON, said members were poised to work hard to ensure a 'one-touch' victory for the Party in Election 2008.
He advised the youth in the Party to remain resolute and refrain from violent acts that could mar the election.
