Leaders of political parties contesting the 2008 Election, have been asked to explain their party's programmes and manifestoes to the people to enable the electorate vote for the party that can move Ghana forward.
The parties have also been challenged to discuss topical national issues instead of resorting to attacks on their opponents.
Mr. Assah Baffour Seidu, chairman of Krobo Area Council in the Techiman Municipality, said these in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Krobo.
He said stability, unity and peace were needed for the execution of national developmental agenda.
Mr. Seidu said "As chairman of Krobo Area Council, I have lived up to the call of uniting the rank and file of the various political parties to promote development in the area".
He denied rumours being peddled that he recently organised a group of people to disrupt National Democratic Congress (NDC) rally at Krobo.
Mr Seidu charged the people to bury their political differences and tolerate each other's views to avoid chaos during the December polls.
