HEARTS of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has emphasised the heightened motivation that opposing teams bring when facing his side, stressing that every match against the Phobians comes with an added determination to succeed.
Speaking in a post-match interview following Hearts' second consecutive victory last Friday, Ouattara acknowledged that teams often elevate their preparation when playing against the Ghanaian giants.
"Every team who is playing Hearts of Oak has double the motivation.
They have another determination when facing us, it’s real. The playing body and the technical team must be serious and take every match like it’s the final," Ouattara remarked, recognizing the competitive edge that teams often have when playing his side.
Hearts' recent 1-0 victory helped them climb up the league standings, and the coach believes maintaining focus and discipline will be key to securing more points as the season progresses.
"We need to focus on every match, every single match is important for Hearts of Oak. If we are disciplined, I think it will be better for us to gather the points," he added.
