The Ghana Premier League has announced the nominees for the NASCO Player of the Month award for October, highlighting three standout players who have delivered remarkable performances on the pitch. 

The nominees include Asante Kotoko’s Albert Amoah, Nations FC’s Faisal Chartewey, and Bibiani Gold Stars’ Kelvin Oppong.

Albert Amoah of Asante Kotoko SC has emerged as a top contender, netting 4 goals in 5 matches. With 424 minutes of playtime, Amoah’s scoring prowess has placed him as the joint top scorer in the Premier League, and his efforts have been recognised with a NASCO Player of the Match award.

Faisal Chartewey, a newcomer to the league with Nations FC, has quickly made an impact, scoring 3 goals in 4 matches, including an impressive brace against Vision FC. Chartewey’s consistent performance earned him a Man of the Match award and has helped secure Nations FC a strong second-place standing.

Kelvin Oppong of Bibiani Gold Stars has also been nominated, showcasing his skills on both ends of the field. The defender scored 2 goals in 4 matches, winning a Man of the Match award, and his contributions have been instrumental in propelling Gold Stars FC to the top of the league standings.

The NASCO Player of the Month award winner will receive a 43-inch NASCO television, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited, as part of the ongoing recognition of outstanding talent within the league.
