Clubs playing in the MTN FA Cup have been advised to observe a minute silence for departed Kumasi Asante Kotoko legend, Paapa Arko.
The FA Cup matches enters the Round of 64 on Wednesday and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) want the departed legend to be honoured.
Arko died last Sunday after a short illness and during his playing days, he was instrumental in the Kotoko’s 1983 victory in the Africa Cup of Champions Club competition.
His contributions to the club cannot be mentioned without his instrumental role in their FA Cup victory in 1984 where the defeated Goldfields in the final.
The local football governing body has therefore notified all clubs to observe a minute silence in honour of the fallen legend.
