The skydive, which was executed in celebration of the start of the NBA Finals 2023 featuring the Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat, culminates a monthlong "bucket list" (https://apo-opa.info/3IPoubu) that has seen the Larry O'Brien Trophy engage with fans and celebrities at some of the most prestigious events and iconic landmarks before reaching its ultimate destination – the hands of the 2023 NBA Champion.
The Larry O'Brien Trophy, which was harnessed to a professional skydiver and flanked by two skydivers wearing Nuggets and Heat jerseys, landed outside of Empower Field at Mile High and was greeted by ESPN's Malika Andrews before she drove it with a police escort to Ball Arena.
