Mr. Chuka Momah, a veteran Nigerian Sports Journalist and a National Sports Merit Award Winner, has presented a copy of his book "Spectacular Sports", chronicling the inroads of Ghana Sports over the years to Mr. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, Minister for Youth and Sports.
Mr. Momah, who was once the President of the Nigerian Tennis Federation and the Confederation of African Tennis noted that, having studied and monitored with keen interest the development of Ghana sports, it was important he put together a book detailing some of the inputs of sports personalities that have emerged from Ghana and how they have helped placed the country and the continent on a higher pedigree in the world.
According to Mr. Momah a copy of his book to the Youth and Sports Minister was as a results of his contribution to sports development in Ghana and his quality leadership, which has helped in sports infrastructure and development in Ghana.
The presentation, was done at the ongoing 6th International Sports Press Association (AIPS) at the Accra City Hotel in Accra also saw Mr. Kwabena Yeboah, President for the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) also getting a copy for his exceptional role in shaping young Journalist in Ghana and Africa, with his rich and insightful writings spanning over two decades.
