Duke Micah, Ghana's Batamweight boxer, is among the few boxers who are inching closer to a world title in the near future.
Micah, who holds the World Boxing Council (WBC) International Batamweight title, is ranked number three, by the latest World Boxing Organisation (WBO) ranking.
This means, Micah, could be in line to fight for the WBO title, if he moves up again on the ranking, by the close of the year.
Micah, who is based in the United States of America (USA), might be taking on South African, Zolani Tete, who is the current WBO champion.
However, he would have to dislodge Juan Carlos Payano of the Dominican Republic, a former champion, who occupies the number one spot, whilst Jason
Moloney, of Australia, occupies the number two spot.
The former 2012 Olympian, who has also won the Commonwealth title, the WBO Africa belt, would be seeking to give Ghana her second world title by
the close of the year.
