In an impressive showing by the ‘Big Three’ at the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, the team defeated the young Milwaukee Bucks in one of the four exciting matchups.
Thunder strike Bucks
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 110-91 on the back of Paul George’s 20 points, Carmelo Anthony had 17 points and eight rebounds, Steven Adams a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double, and Russell Westbrook was an assist short of his fourth triple-double of the season with 12 points, 10-rebounds and nine assists.
Milwaukee was led by Nigerian-Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo with 28 points and eight rebounds, Khris Middleton had nine and seven rebounds, South Sudanese-Australian Thon Maker eight and Rashad Vaughn ended the game with nine.
Pacers down Kings
The Indiana Pacers beat the Sacramento, Kings 101-83. Bojan Bogdanovic had 17 points and four assists, Thaddeus Young 15, four rebounds and four steals, Nigerian-American guard Victor Oladipo 14 and four rebounds, and Domantas Sabonis finished with a 12-point, 16-rebound double-double.
Rookie De’Aaron Fox led Sacramento with 18 points, four rebounds and five assists, Zach Randolph had 12 and five rebounds, and Skal Labissiere finished with eight and eight rebounds.
Suns burn Nets
The Phoenix Suns defeated the Nets 122-114 in Brooklyn on Devin Booker’s 32 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Mike James had 24, five assists and four steals, TJ Warren a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double, and Tyson Chandler and Alex Len combined for 28 rebounds (Chandler 15 and Len 13).
Brooklyn were led by D’Angelo Russell with 33 points, six rebounds and four assists, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 21 and seven rebounds, Spencer Dinwiddie 15 and four assists, and DeMarre Carroll 13, five rebounds and four steals.
Lakers break Pistons
Great team play by the Los Angeles Lakers helped them beat the Detroit Pistons 113-93. Julius Randle had 17 points and seven rebounds, rookie Kyle Kuzma 16 and six rebounds, Larry Nance Jr a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double, while rookie Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram Kentavious Coldwell-Pope combined for 39 with 13 points apiece.
Reggie Jackson led Detroit with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Tobias Harris had 18 and four rebounds, Ish Smith 12, and Andre Drummond finished with a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double.
