The Pharoahs' 15-game sequence marks a new tournament high.
Egypt have set a new record for the highest number of games unbeaten at the Africa Cup of Nations finals after defeating Mozambique 2-0 in Group C on Saturday.
The win stretched The Pharaohs unbeaten run to 15, eclipsing the previous record of 14 held by Cameroon between 1984 and 1988.
The Egyptians, who have won both the previous two installments of the tournament, last tasted defeat six years ago when they went down 2-1 to Algeria in the group phase.
They have been on form in this tournament, securing their billing as one of the favourites to take the title at the end of the month.
They will get the chance to extend that run as well when they play Benin on Wednesday in their final group game, having already booked their place in the quarter-finals of the 2010 competition.
