Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood's (MB) headquarters in Egypt was torched on Friday as massive demonstrations were held nationwide to mark the second anniversary of the 2011 unrest that toppled former president Hosni Mubarak, state TV reported. Protesters gathered early Friday, calling for the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi and the current government.
Violent clashes erupted in Alexandria, with protesters throwing stones at the security forces while the latter replied with tear gas, leaving at least nine people injured, according to the ministry of health.
Recent reports said there were more than 17 protesters and six policemen injured.
