America's beach volleyball champion pairs Phil Dalhausser/Todd Rogers and Misty May-Treanor/Kerri
Walsh will be in action for the season's last Grand Slam in Austria.
Dalhausser and Rogers, who entered this week's play as the newly-crowned SWATCH-FIVB world champions after winning the title on Sunday in Gstaad, Switzerland, are also the defending champions of the Grand Slam event, which starts on August 1 through to 5.
While May-Treanor/Walsh, winning the world title on Saturday by easing past China's tour leaders Tian Jia/Wang Jie, stunned the world by capturing their third-straight gold medal at world championships for the first time in history. They also maintain a 22-match international beach volleyball winning streak this season.
Led by May-Treanor and Walsh, American women have won all four major events in 2007. The reigning Olympic champions captured gold in Paris and Berlin before Saturday's world championship title victory.
With May-Treanor and Walsh placing third in Norway Grand Slam with their only international setback this season to Tian/Wang in the semi-finals, their countrywomen Jen Boss and April Ross stood out to take revenge for them by beating the Chinese pair for the gold medal.
Tian/Wang and their fellow-Chinese Xue Chen/Zhang Xi will also feature in the 600,000 U.S. dollars tourney, the 12th World Tour
stop in 2007 for both men and women.
The competition starts with the qualifying teams battling on Wednesday when the final eight entries for both the men's and women's parts will be decided to join Thursday's main draw play.
24 teams each for the two genders have been guaranteed for the main draws.
Following pool play, the top three tandems in each men's and women's group will advance to a 24-team single-elimination bracket.
The women's finale will be Saturday and the men's gold medal match is scheduled for Sunday as the winning teams will share the 43,500 U.S. dollars first-place prizes.
