Uganda's parliament spokesperson has lashed out at people who edited the speaker's profile on Wikipedia to indicate that he was dead.
The spokesperson, Chris Obore, said the health condition of the speaker would be revealed by his deputy who had travelled to the US.
Speaker Jacob Oulanyah has been hospitalised since last month.
His trip to seek treatment out of the country received mixed reactions, with critics saying it cost taxpayers a lot of money.
Mr Obore said those who edited the speaker's profile used virtual private networks hence could not be traced.
