Multichoice have donated their mobile tv device, Walka to the Black Stars team ahead of their participation at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The donation is aimed at keeping the players, management and technical team of the Black Stars informed and entertained with the DStv service during their time in South Africa.
All members of the team travelling to South Africa have been given a Walka which will be activated upon their arrival in South Africa.
The device will again be reconfigured when the team returns back home to Ghana.
"We are sure our players will remain informed and entertained during their time in South Africa," Edwrad Kwame Owusu said on behalf of the Managing Director of Multichoice at a brief event organized for the donation.
"The device will be activated in South Africa and reconfigured on their return from South Africa.
"We are committed to showing the stars of this tournament especially the Black Stars."
Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi in receiving the items, thanked Multichoice for their donation and stressed the importance of the mobile television device to the team during their stay in South Africa.
"We spend a lot of time in camp and this donation will go a long way to minimize the rate of boredom in camp,"he said.
"We hope that through this gesture Ghanaians will also reciprocate this by patronizing more of the Walka in order not to miss any bit of the action at the 2013 Africa cup of Nations."
The Black Stars will be received by Ghana President John Mahama later in the day before making a donation at the Teshie Orphanage.
The team will leave Ghana on Friday for their pre-2013 Nations Cup camp in Abu Dhabi.
