The Executive director of the PAORP-VWC, Dr. Peter Ndonwie, indicated that the presentations form part of efforts to overcome the challenging harmful traditional practices, which for some years have put the poor northern girl at a disadvantaged position. With this presentation, "we are bridging the educational gap between the boy and girl child". He further noted that the future of any successful society depended on the provision of quality education for children who are the future leaders of Tomorrow.
