The much-anticipated Tigo Festival Train rolled into Anloga, Volta Region sending celebrants of the Hogbetsotso festival back to their homes with the fondest memories of a festival well-celebrated.
Visitors and natives of the town from far and near were treated to an amazing musical performance by a string of musicians including Ewudodzi, Double, FBS and Celestine Donkor. The already charged atmosphere at the concert was further heightened when good, old Chicago and X-Doe took the stage to treat fans to some of their old, chart-topping songs.
In a related remark, the Head of Marketing, Tenu Awoonor said: "Tigo is always delighted at the privilege to participate in events, such as Hogbetsotso, that are clearly close to the hearts of customers".
He also revealed that Tigo's association with Hogbetsotso is an attestation of the company's respect for the rich traditions and customs of the people of Anloga.
Tigo used the opportunity to introduce a number of new initiatives including Reach for Change, Tigo Cash and its new brand promise to put smiles on the faces of its customers through its innovative products and services.

This year’s celebration was under the theme, "Deepening Our Reconciliation, Unity and Peace towards Accelerated Development".
Hogbetsotso Festival is traditionally used to pacify the gods and to pave way for better things in the future. Celebrated on the first Saturday of every November, it loosely translates as festival of exodus.
Tigo Festival Train is a permanent feature on many of the nation's festivals across the country and constitutes one of the pivotal CSR interventions of the premier telecommunication services provider.
