Tigo Gives to Techiman Traditional Council
As part of this year's yam festival celebration in Techiman, Tigo Ghana, has presented a three thousand Ghana Cedi (GH¢3,000) cheque to the Techiman Traditional Council.
The donation forms part of Tigo's corporate social responsibility programmes which help promote the country's culture.
Speaking at a short ceremony to present the cheque, Michael Adjinbaruk, Northern Sector Manager of Tigo Ghana, lauded the council's efforts in sustaining peace and security in the Municipality.
"This has provided us the opportunity to operate peacefully and make our services readily accessible by the people of Techiman," Mr. Adjinbaruk added.
The Sector Manager further assured the council and people of the region of Tigo's readiness to provide the best service through affordable tariffs and clearer calls.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the council, the Omanhene of Techiman traditional council, Nana Oseadeyor Akumfi Ameyaw IV, thanked the management and staff of Tigo Ghana for their contribution towards the yam festival.
The Omanhene said the council in collaboration with the security agencies will continue to work in maintaining the peace and stability of the techiman Municipality to encourage more investors into the Municipality.
