The Fourth Annual Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding Event has been held amidstpomp and pageantry in Accra. TheZain-sponsored event put together some nine lucky couples in a colourful wedding ceremony at the Movers Courtyard in Accra.
Hundreds of people including friends and families of the couples witnessed the ceremony as Rev. Kofi Okyere of Sunny FM led the couples to exchange their vows.Rev. Frank Abedi Boateng of the Charismatic International Church who preached the sermon, charged the couples to let communication play a key role in their attempts to sort out their differences.
The crowd went into frenzy when D.S.P Sarpong took his turn with songs on his debut album, while gospel diva Bernice Offei lifted the tempo even higher.The Dynamic MPU Choir from the University of Ghana and the Yaweras Int. Band were also there to add to the excitement and beauty of the occasion.
Prior to the big wedding day, the couples had been engaged in some interesting activities including a cooking contest dubbed “:Don’t mind your wife” where the grooms were paired in groups to cook for their brides. The couples were also treated to movies at Silverbird and had very intensive counseling sessions with Rev. Kofi Okyere to prepare and equip them for the challenges in marriage.After the wedding ceremony, the couples, were chauffeured in beautiful limozines provided by Classic Limos to N’joy Hotel in Sakumono, where they were treated to a dinner with close friends and family.
The couples will for the next three days have their “just-for-me-and-you” moment at the Volta Hotel in a fun-packed honeymoon package including a cruise on the Dodi Princess.

The Happy FM mass wedding is organized free of charge to registered couples who are already engaged traditionally indicating their commitment and willingness to fulfill their dream of taking a step further in a beautiful wedding ceremony.
