The 2391st star will be embedded on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in remembrance of veteran actor Peter Graves, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Committee announced Friday.
The star will be dedicated to Graves in a ceremony next Friday in front of the Musso & Frank Restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard.
Graves, a famous film and television star, began his performing career in 1951. He won acclaim at home and abroad for his role as Jim Phelps in the two "Mission: Impossible" series in 1966 and 1988, respectively. He also won a Golden Globe Award in 1971 and received nominations for Emmy Awards.
Graves played the captain in the disaster film "Airplane!". He also stared in miniseries "The Winds of War" and its sequel "War and Remembrance."
The Hollywood veteran has appeared in more than 70 films, TV series and TV movies.
